I used Dragonframe to animate the toys, shot against a green screen. Then I drew the mouth shapes and did lip-sync segments in Procreate, trying my best to get the scratchy stamped-on look of the toys. I shot the back of the heads with no faces so I’d have something to erase the existing faces with when I put my mouths on, which sort of worked…Then edited and did all the keying in Final Cut. Still learning!
